Parolee's DNA Links Him To Crime

A career criminal accused of breaking into a home left something behind that linked him to the crime, Marietta police said.

Tommy Lee Glisson, 54, has served six separate sentences in Georgia state prisons since 1992, according to the department of corrections. Glisson has previous drug and burglary convictions and most recently was released in October 2009.

Last week, Marietta police issued an arrest warrant for Glisson on a criminal trespassing charge. Glisson now is accused of breaking a window to enter a Marietta home in January 2010, according to the arrest warrant obtained by the AJC.

"An exterior window was broken and the accused was cut during entry into the location," the warrant states.
