| Pakistan police break up jail riot |

Prison officials say seven inmates have been killed in clashes that took place following a search by authorities for cell phones at a Pakistani jail. The rioting took place on Tuesday at Hyderabad jail in southern Pakistan. Hyderabad prison official Aftab Soomro says fighting broke out during a search for phones illegally kept by inmates.
