| Camden man guilty of biting jail officer |

A 26-year-old Camden man was convicted Thursday of biting a chunk out of the cheek of a corrections officer at the Camden County Jail. Bernard Jenkins, of the 700 block of Powell Court, was convicted of aggravated assault, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and subjecting a law enforcement officer to body fluids, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. He faces up to 20 years in prison at his sentencing scheduled for May 6.
