| L.A. sheriff says six deputies to be fired |

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has begun termination proceedings against six deputies who were involved in an attack on two fellow deputies at a Christmas party last year. The Los Angeles Times reports Tuesday that the deputies worked on the third floor of Men's Central Jail, where they allegedly were part of an aggressive group that used ganglike signals to identify themselves. The investigation stemmed from a fight that broke out last December outside a Montebello banquet hall where a Christmas party for jail employees was being hosted. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says a seventh deputy who was placed on leave after the incident was not fired because of insufficient evidence. Read More. |

please rethink what u r going to do. People make mistakes !! u r a spokesperson for the sheriff's have u worked with inmates at twin towers r&c? as a mother with a very heavy heart. these's deputies need your support. u need to be human for one moment. the job they do might not be hard work! But it is ugly if u have been inside their or on a tour like i have u could understand. they might of drank & cut loose to much but the job can be stressful. maybe they could use employee support services bureau, time off with out pay. sheriff Boca said in one of his speech that when u become a ca. or a deputy we become a family & families don't give up on each other u help to find what we can do to make things better. they houses gang member, low lifes & they do this everday. your father was an actor long ago i'm sure things happen in his job. please! please! rethink this.
