Fugitive level three predatory offender Eugene Glaraton has been taken into custody and is being held at the Ramsey County Jail. Glaraton was apprehended by the Department of Corrections (DOC) Fugitive Apprehension Unit in Roseville at approximately 1 p.m. The DOC received information that Glaraton was in an apartment complex near the intersection of Roselawn and Lexington Avenues. He was taken into custody at that location. A DOC hearing will determine what violations of his supervised release conditions occurred and the consequences. Glaraton, 42, was released from the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Lino Lakes on February 15. He absconded from a halfway house placement on February 20. Glaraton was on Intensive Supervised Release for failing to register as a sex offender in Ramsey County. His prior convictions include First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct. The DOC would like to thank the public for the many tips that were received. |
