Former sheriff joins parole board

Retired Pennington County Sheriff Don Holloway will join the Board of Pardons and Paroles, Attorney General Marty Jackley announced Tuesday.

Holloway will replace Denny Kaemingk, a nine-year parole board member recently appointed to head the Department of Corrections.

Holloway was elected Pennington County Sheriff in 1982 and served seven terms before his retirement this year.
