DECATUR, AL (WSFA) - The Alabama Department of Corrections is issuing a notice of escape for an inmate of the ADOC Decatur Community Based Facility. Michael Reid was reported "unaccounted for" during a count at 11pm on April 24. He is 5'10", 140lbs, brown hair and blue eyes. is considered an escapee from the ADOC Decatur Community Based Facility. Appropriate law enforcement agencies were notified at the time of the escape. He was last seen wearing an ADOC white inmate uniform. His security level is considered minimum out and he was not a work release inmate. Reid was serving 15 years for three counts of Burglary III, sentenced out of Jefferson County in 2008.
