Official cites "oversight" in NY methadone license

VALHALLA, N.Y. (AP) — Federal investigators are looking into whether the health care provider at New York's Westchester County jail dispensed methadone without a license for 10 months.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration was at the Valhalla, N.Y., jail twice in recent weeks.

Deputy Corrections Commissioner Justin Pruyne says there was an "oversight" involving an updated license.
