NH budget negotiators make headway

CONCORD, N.H.—New Hampshire House and Senate budget negotiators have reached a tentative agreement on spending for the Department of Corrections.

The House agreed to the Senate's $102 million annual spending level, which is a 2 percent increase over current spending levels but is $13 million below the amount recommended by Gov. John Lynch.
