Prison lockdown after Va. tuberculosis scare |

A possible tuberculosis case has prompted Virginia officials to lock down the housing unit of a prison in Richmond County. State Department of Corrections spokesman Larry Traylor said Wednesday that an inmate was isolated at Haynesville Correctional Center’s medical unit on June 23 after showing symptoms of the illness.
