| Casey Anthony Sentenced to 4 Years in County Jail |

The judge in Casey Anthony's trial sentences her to four years in the Orange County Jail, on four counts of lying to police investigators about the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee. A jury Wednesday found Anthony not guilty of murder, manslaughter and child abuse in Caylee's death. But the panel did find she lied to investigators on four separate occasions during the investigation. Each of those counts brings a one year jail term. The judge today ordered that Anthony serve those four one-year terms consecutively, or one after the other. But he also gave her credit for time she has already serve in jail, awaiting trial, which is nearly three years. Read More. |
