Connecticut State Prisons to Ban Porn |

HARTFORD, Conn. — Porn will be banned in Connecticut state prisons as of June 30, 2012. Department of Corrections Commissioner Leo Arnone announced today that inmates have a year to dispose of any sexually explicit materials and must allow subscriptions to sex periodicals expire. Sexually explicit material is defined by the department as photos of sexual activity or nudity, except, — when taken as a whole — they are “literay, artitistic, educational or scientific” in nature.
