Officials at the Fayette County Detention Center said Monday that an inmate was inadvertently released on Saturday. Hafit Martinez-Hipolito, 20, was inadvertently released on Saturday at about 3:30 p.m. due to human error, according to officials. Martinez-Hipolito was charged with retaliating against a witness and fourth-degree assault. He is described as a Hispanic male, 20 years of age, 135 lbs, 5'5", black hair and brown eyes. Mr. Martinez-Hipolito's date of birth is September 25, 1991. An Attempt to Locate has been issued.
