An inmate stabbed a Washington County Deputy in the face several times with a pencil, according to the Sheriff’s Office. This happened in the Washington County Jail. Several inmates came to the deputy's aid while second inmate also attacked the deputy, investigators said. The deputy was working in one of the pods where inmates are housed when the inmate sneaked up behind and stabbed him in the face three times, a press release stated. The inmate is 20-year-old Alejandro Arenas Martinez, who's in jail for an unrelated attempted murder charges. Read More. |
