LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Authorities said another juvenile detention officer has been attacked at a southern New Mexico correctional center. A 17-year-old boy is facing a charge of assault on an officer at the J. Paul Taylor Center. A New Mexico State Police spokesman said the teen was taken to the Dona County Detention Center's juvenile unit following the Monday attack. Read More. |
