| Reno County jail site options narrowing |

HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) - Reno County commissioners say they hope to talk to state prison officials about the possibility of locating new county jail near a state-run prison. The Hutchinson News reports that state-owned land is the only possible jail site remaining for the Reno County Jail Study Committee. The committee was told Tuesday that other sites in the area have been eliminated because of various concerns, including liability and zoning issues.
