Alleged GPS tampering brings felony charge

A Racine man faces a felony charge for allegedly damaging a monitoring bracelet.

On Monday Robert A. Gregory, 73, of the 1200 block of Wisconsin Avenue, was accused of tampering with a global positioning system tracking device. If convicted he faces a maximum penalty of a $10,000 fine or imprisonment for three years and six months, or both. Bail was set at $750 cash during his initial appearance in Racine County Circuit Court on Monday.
