An inmate at the Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge was killed Sunday after being attacked in his cell, officials from the Montana Department of Corrections announced Monday. The death is under investigation by corrections investigators, who are trying to determine the motive for the attack. The Powell County Sheriff's Office is also helping with the investigation.
