Charge dropped against Kansas DOC employee |

Charges have been dropped against a former Kansas Department of Corrections employee who was charged earlier this year with sexual battery in connection with an alleged incident involving a female inmate at the Topeka Correctional Facility. Shawnee County District Court records show the charge against Andrew J. Grubb, 31, of Topeka, was dismissed Tuesday. Grubb had been charged April 14 with a misdemeanor count of sexual battery involving touching without consent. Dakota Loomis, spokesman for District Attorney Chad Taylor, said earlier this year that in sexual battery cases, the unwanted touching often is a kiss. Read More. |
