| Inmate found dead At King County Jail |

SEATTLE -- An inmate was found dead just after midnight in the King County Jail, the Jail said on Monday. The 49-year-old man from Des Moines was found during a routine security check. Staff at the jail started medical treatment, but the man was pronounced dead at 12:23 a.m. The King County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death. The King County Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention will work with Public Health-Seattle & King County on the investigation into the inmate's death. Read More. |
