High-risk sex offender to be released for second time |

A 53-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man convicted of sexually assaulting children in the 1980s and multiple subsequent probation violations is scheduled to be released from incarceration for the second time in less than a year. Douglas K. LeMay, 53, will be released Oct. 4 and will live at 1150 16th St. N. Apt. 1, according to a Wisconsin Rapids Police Department news release. He is a Level 3 sex offender, requiring the highest category of notification to the public. Wood County Circuit Judge Todd Wolf sentenced LeMay on March 21 to one year and six months in prison, with credit for 346 days served and placed him on two years of extended supervision for violating his probation.
