| Hundreds of non-violent offenders could be released next month |

Up to 300 Oklahoma inmates are set to be released from the Department Of Corrections on November 1st. 50 to 100 of those felons will re-enter society in our area.The prisoners must be non-violent offenders who've served 90 days on a less than five year sentence. They will be released on parole and wear a tracking device for approximately eight months. With every click of the GPS ankle monitor, Tulsa County prosecutors say that is one more injustice to society. "I have to go back to the victim of our crime and explain to them, 'well we told you it's going to be four years, but really it's 90 days," says Doug Drummond, with the Tulsa County District Attorney's office. Billie Pack, a probation and parole officer says, "we are tight on funds and this will help. It will also make room for the ones waiting to go-in that are more violent."
