MCALESTER — Prison guards found two inmates hanging in their cells Thursday morning at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary. Jerry Massie, spokesman for the state Department of Corrections, said officials were performing routine checks early Thursday when they discovered Adam T. Wright, 42, and James R. Thomas, 36, hanging in their cells. He said it appears both men committed suicide. Read More. |
