| Officials investigate Waupun prison inmate death |

WAUPUN WS — Prison officials are investigating the death of a 31-year-old inmate found dead in his cell Tuesday morning. Department of Corrections Public Information Officer Tim LeMonds said the inmate was discovered around 10 a.m. by prison staff at Waupun Correctional Institution. LeMonds wouldn't comment on the cause of the inmate's death. He said an autopsy will be performed to determine the official cause of death. Read More. |
