| FBI Searching for Individual who robbed bank in Kodak |

The Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Chief Don Myers of the Sevierville Police Department (SPD) are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual who robbed the Mountain National Bank today. At approximately 12:30 p.m., the suspect entered the Mountain National Bank located at 2140 Winfield Dunn Parkway in Kodak, Tennessee, and verbally demanded money from a bank employee. Witnesses described the suspect as a heavy-set white male in his late 20s to mid-30s, approximately 5’10” to 6’2” tall, and weighing approximately 210 to 240 pounds. The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a gray jacket with black sleeves with a small gray stripe down each sleeve, and white tennis shoes with gray stripes. He was also wearing a two-toned baseball style cap with a dark bill and black- rimmed eyeglasses. After obtaining an undetermined amount of money, the suspect fled the scene in a white, late model vehicle (possibly a Hyundai Tucson) with a small, power “T” sticker on the rear window . A reward is being offered for any information which leads to the arrest of this individual. This matter is being investigated jointly by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force (which consists of personnel from the FBI, KPD, and KCSO) and the SPD.
