Police re-arrest mistakenly released murder suspect |

Washington DC -- A murder suspect who was mistakenly released on bond earlier this month has been re-arrested, Prince George’s County police announced Tuesday. Frederick Lawrence Scott, 24, of Chillum, was arrested May 5 in connection with the fatal shooting of Phillip Watson, 30, of Southeast Washington, police said. After his arrest, Scott was placed in the county’s Department of Corrections, where he was to be held without bond while he awaited trial. He remained there until Nov. 10, when he was allowed to post a $75,000 bond and leave the jail. Read More. |
