WY DOC: Zumbrun selected as employee of the quarter |

Cheyenne – The Wyoming Department of Corrections Central Office has selected Deb Zumbrun as the Outstanding Employee of the Second Quarter of 2011-12. She was nominated by her peers and selected based on her continued exemplary performance. She is an interstate compact specialist for the Wyoming Department of Correction’s Central Office. She began working at the WDOC in February of 2009 “Zumbrun emulates the core values of the Wyoming Department of Corrections in the active pursuit and achievement of our mission to be a benchmark correctional system,” her peers said in her nomination paperwork. “And she exemplifies outstanding achievement and strong leadership within the Interstate Compact Unit.” She has worked tirelessly at standardizing and improving efficiency of the processes the impact the entire department, the recommendation commented. Zumbrun has taken the initiative to develop a website, resources and training tools that are beneficial to and streamlined for the field service offices of the WDOC. In addition, she has taken on the extra responsibilities of working with national level committees to improve operations in area of expertise and at the department level to assist in safety, wellness and data management. |
