CCA, America's leader in partnership corrections, has named Khalid Rentz, Senior Correctional Officer and Security Threat Group (STG) Coordinator at Lake City Correctional Facility in Florida, its 2011 Employee of the Year. "Our executive team had a tough decision to make from a very competitive pool of more than 60 highly capable, dedicated and respected CCA employees," said Damon Hininger, CCA president and CEO. "The team at the Lake City Correctional Facility regard Officer Rentz as a corrections professional of the highest caliber and our company leadership agree." Officer Rentz joined CCA Lake City as a Correctional Officer in 1998 and was promoted to Senior Correctional Officer in 2007. That same year he assumed responsibility as the Security Threat Group (STG) Coordinator at the 893-bed facility located in Lake City, Florida which CCA manages for the Florida Department of Corrections.
