LEXINGTON, Mo. – An inmate who escaped from the Lafayette County Jail is back in custody after being apprehended in the St. Louis area, authorities said on Wednesday. Tommy F. Haubrich, 39, escaped from the Lafayette County Jail last Saturday evening. According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, Haubrich apparently broke a lock on a door that gave him access to a crawl space, then the roof through a drain.
