| Sex offender to be released in Eau Claire |

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections has notified the Eau Claire Police Department that Sex Offender Steven T. Trautt, date of birth 4-13-1982, will be released from prison on Tuesday, December 27. Trautt was convicted of 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child in Chippewa County on 12-7-2004. He was convicted of 3rd Degree Sexual Assault in Eau Claire County on 4-20-2006. Trautt will be staying at 107 Randal St. in Eau Claire. He is a lifetime Sex Offender Registrant.
