Fugitive Sex Offender Back in Jail

ALBERT LEA, MN--A convicted sex offender is back in jail after cutting off his GPS locator and leaving a half way house.

Minnesota's Department of Corrections started alerting public and media after Roderick Hamilton was gone for more than three days.

Hamilton was first released from prison in Minnesota at the end of November.

He was sentenced on first degree criminal sexual conduct, escape from work release, stolen property and theft.

Local authorities say Hamilton will definitely be going back to jail.. Level three predatory offenders who tamper with their monitoring at all, have committed a serious offense.
