Shortly after losing his 16th bid for parole, Chester Weger was transferred to another prison. Weger has been in custody since November 1960 for murdering Lillian Oetting at Starved Rock State Park. Weger also was implicated in the deaths of Oetting's companions, Frances Murphy and Mildred Lindquist, but was never tried for those slayings. Read More. |
