FRESNO, Calif. -- California prison officials say several inmates were hurt when about 300 inmates rioted Wednesday afternoon at Kern Valley State Prison in Delano. California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officials told the Fresno Bee (http://bit.ly/xRB6qA) the injured inmates suffered stab, puncture and slash wounds, though none were life-threatening.
