Department of Corrections busting parole absconders this week, arrested nine people in Jackson County |

Michigan Department of Corrections employees and state police troopers were in Jackson County this week to bust men and women who have been avoiding their parole officers. They arrested eight parolees and a woman accused of harboring one of them as part of a state-wide fugitive sweep that began Monday, Department of Corrections spokesman Russ Marlan said.
