Michigan Department of Corrections employees and state police troopers were in Jackson County this week to bust men and women who have been avoiding their parole officers. They arrested eight parolees and a woman accused of harboring one of them as part of a state-wide fugitive sweep that began Monday, Department of Corrections spokesman Russ Marlan said. The effort continues today and Friday in the Detroit area, where there are many parolees. Read More. |
