Sex offender sentenced for violating probation |

WI - A former Brandon Sunday school teacher convicted of sending a young woman a sexually explicit letter has violated terms of his probation 13 times, including posing as a boy online so he could talk to girls. Kevin L. Vader, 48, of Brandon appeared in court Friday after his probation was revoked in a prior case where he was convicted of exposing a child to harmful material. Vader was originally charged in September 2009 with child enticement. After entering a no contest plea in March 2010, he was placed in jail for six months and on probation for two years. Circuit Court Judge Robert Wirtz on Friday ordered Vader to serve the maximum of 1½ years in prison and two years extended supervision for the probation violations. Wirtz said Vader did poorly on probation, has not changed and caused emotional harm to the child. "You deserve nothing short of the max," Wirtz told Vader during sentencing. Read More. |
