Prison Privatization vote postponed |

The vote on a multi-billion dollar prison privatization deal has been postponed. The privatization plan would turn a half billion dollars worth of Florida prisons over to private companies. They'd be required to operate with 7% less money than state prisons but no study has determined if economists are comparing bad apples to bad apples when it comes to the *types of inmates being housed.
