ROCK SPRINGS, Ga. (WXIA) -- The Georgia State Patrol confirmed Tuesday morning that two inmates escaped from the Walker State Prison in Walker County. The escapees, identified as Buell David Emberson and Fred Brooks, escaped from the prison at about 9:15 p.m. Monday, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections. The inmates "fashioned a device that allowed them to breach the fence at the medium security facility," a spokesperson for the Department of Corrections said. Read More. |
