With the approval of each of the workgroups priority issues, the teams will now begin directing efforts on gathering data to better define and quantify the issues and begin developing recommendations for possible solutions. The groups will then present their findings and multiple recommendations to the TPC taskforce at its next quarterly meeting on April 11. The TPC taskforce, which was formed in November 2011, is concentrated on improving offender reentry services and resources through the collaboration of community leaders and stakeholders. The taskforce is composed of 14 separate organizations and agencies from across Wyoming. It is chaired jointly by the Governor’s Office and the Wyoming Department of Corrections. |
