A Rikers Island corrections officer has been arrested on charges of beating his wife while their 9-year-old daughter watched. Mohammed Ali, 43, was charged with assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child in the attack in the family’s Queens home Monday night. Queens prosecutors say Ali dragged his wife across the living room floor and repeatedly punched her in the face. She was treated for bruises and released from a nearby hospital.
