| Officers Honored for Saving Inmate's Life |

NH -- Three corrections officers were honored Monday for saving an inmate's life in Concord last year. Department of Corrections Commissioner William L. Wrenn awarded corrections officers James Welch, Edward Vocell and Bonnie Johnson with the department's Life Saving Medal for preventing an inmate from hanging himself on Sept. 23, 2011 in the Reception and Diagnostic Unit of the Concord facility, according to a press release.
