Inmate bites two corrections officers in Lorain |

LORAIN, OH — A Lorain County Jail corrections officer needed three stitches after an inmate bit two corrections officers Sunday night, according to the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office. Meloni Harris, 43, of Medina, was charged with two counts of assault. Harris was taking a shower when a nurse came into her isolation cell to distribute medication. Harris yelled at the nurse that she wanted privacy. Corrections Officer Coco Watson ordered the inmate, who had since gotten dressed, to put her shoes on and go back to her cell, according to the sheriff’s office. Read More. |
