Aberdeen, WA - Both medium-custody units at Stafford Creek Corrections Center near Aberdeen were placed on lockdown yesterday morning after a series of fights that started Tuesday night. Sheri Izatt, Public Information Officer with the state's Department of Corrections tells KBKW No staff members or offenders were seriously injured. The five minimum-custody units are placed on a modified lockdown, meaning offenders have limited movement while staff members conduct an investigation. Read More. |
