ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. - St. Johnsbury residents will get a chance tonight to express their concerns about a recent prison escape. Last month, 23-year-old Glen Garvey of Brandon and 25-year-old Nathan Jones of Washington escaped a work crew detail. But people living near the St. Johnsbury prison weren't notified. Officials say a computer warning system failed. The Corrections Department has since purchased a new community alert system. Read More. |
