| Wardens Dismissed from Jackson County Prison |

Marianna, Florida - April 17, 2012 - Eyewitness News confirmed Monday Sneads resident Ted Jeter was no longer a warden at the Jackson County Prison. Dismissal letters obtained by Eyewitness News showed both Jeter and Assistant Warden Carolann Bracewell were fired last week. Back on March 16, Eyewitness News uncovered the Florida Department of Corrections had launched an investigation into him and at least one other prison employee. Officials reported Jeter and J.C.I. nurse Tara West were placed on administrative leave, but they wouldn't comment on if the cases were related. Read More. |
