The South Dakota Department of Corrections is warning the public that a state prison inmate, set for release, may a be danger to the public. Inmate Charles Long was sentenced to 10 years in prison with 5 years suspended in May 2007 for Grand Theft out of Pennington County. Pursuant to Long's judgment of conviction, he must be released on April 21, 2012. "The inmate has a criminal history including crimes of violence.
