Michigan auditing supervision of probationers |

LANSING, Mich. (WTW) — The Michigan Department of Corrections is auditing the state's 70,000 parolees and probationers after one was arrested in the baseball bat beating death of his father and attack on other family members in suburban Detroit. Director Daniel Heyns tells the Detroit Free Press (http://on.freep.com/Ixj2Ue) that he ordered the audit follows Monday's killing as well as recent high-profile slayings where charges were brought against people under Corrections supervision.
