A Jefferson County (Ky.) sheriff's deputy has resigned amid allegations he offered a female inmate cigarettes in exchange for sex. John Kyser has turned in his resignation, citing personal reasons. An inmate says Kyser gave her two cigarettes in exchange for oral sex at the Jefferson county judicial building last month. Kyser has pleaded not guilty to offical misconduct charges. He had been with the sheriff's department since 2001. |
