The Georgia Department of Corrections has issued a statewide alert for an inmate who walked away from work detail in Monroe County. Spokesperson Gwendolyn Hogan says Demetrius Wyn walked away from the job Wednesday morning. According to the Department of Corrections website, Wyn was serving time for robbery and was assigned to the Burrus Correctional Training Center in Forsyth. Read More. |
