Arrest warrants issued for former Essex County corrections officer |

CHELSEA, MA — Arrest warrants have been issued for a recently retired Essex County Sheriff's Department corrections officer who lives in Swampscott, according to a clerk at Chelsea District Court and a spokesperson for Essex County Sheriff Frank Cousins. Warrants have been issued for Kenneth Michaud, 40, of 81 Kensington Lane, Swampscott, on charges of assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery, according to a clerk at the court. Essex County Deputy Maurice Pratt, spokesperson for Cousins, confirmed this morning that Michaud worked for the department for more than 20 years, until he retired in November 2011. Read More. |
