A correctional officer stands accused of sexually assaulting a female inmate at the Baltimore County (Md.) Detention Center.
The woman told authorities that 35-year-old Emmanuel Deris forced her to perform a sexual act on him during the early morning hours of August 9th.
Deris faces several charges including one count of second degree sex offense, fourth-degree sex offense and second degree assault.
Deris has admitted his involvement with the victim and has been released from custody after posting $35,000 bail.
